Donna Marie Flowers, 78, passed peacefully at home on Friday, April 15, 2022. Born in Buffalo, NY, she was the first child of Fred and Arlene Cole. She graduated from Bishop Quigley High School and went on to Secretary School. She worked for Dr. Simmonds Podiatry for over 32 years. Donna was married May 8, 1965 to H. Blair Flowers until his death on December 24, 1972. She was predeceased by her husband, Blair Flowers; mother, Arlene Cole; father, Fred Cole; and grandmother, Mary Ganger. She is survived by her sisters, Debbie (Glenn) Sweeney, and Cheryl (Gary Borland) Keene; her children, Craig (Jeannette) Flowers, Mike Flowers, Kelly Flowers, Shelly (Mike) Nuzzo, Bill (Aimee) Flowers and Tammy (Mike Barbato) Wiggins; 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and extended family. Donna's whole life was her family. A "momma/grammy" force to be reckoned with. She will always be remembered for her laugh and her way of expressing herself, especially with her sigh when things were not going quite right. She loved reading, gardening and to be surrounded by her children, friends and family. Calling hours will be Thursday, April 21, from 4-7 pm at Fairchild & Meech DeWitt Chapel, 3690 Erie Blvd. East, DeWitt. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Church, 4112 E. Genesee Street, DeWitt on Friday, April 22, at 10 am. Burial will be immediately following at St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
