Obituary

Tina Louise Sinopoli, beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born in Syracuse to Michael Longo and Suzanne E. Hedrick (née Tyler), Tina was a proud graduate of Assumption Catholic Academy, Class of 1981, and the National Academy of Paralegal Studies at Le Moyne College. In June 1994, she married her loving husband, Vincent James "Jim" Sinopoli, Jr.

Tina enjoyed a fulfilling career as an administrative and legal assistant. Her most cherished roles, however, were as a devoted mother, pouring her heart into raising her children and being a Grammie to her beloved grandchildren.

Tina's sweet nature and warm spirit endeared her to everyone she met. She had a remarkable ability to connect with others, making everyone feel valued and cherished. Her great sense of humor brought laughter to every gathering, creating treasured memories with family and friends. Tina filled every moment with love and joy. Her passions for travel, baking, and decorating for the holidays reflected her vibrant personality and enthusiasm for life.

She was predeceased by her parents, Michael Longo and Suzanne E. Hedrick, and her brother, Shawn Longo.

Tina is survived by her husband, Jim Sinopoli; daughter, Danielle (Kevin) Allison; sons, James (Julia Norton) Sinopoli, and Michael (Reilly Zajac) Sinopoli; her grandchildren, Emma Grace and Madeline Rose; sister, Claudine Longo; her nieces, nephews, friends; and grand puppy Juniper.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the Neuro ICU team at Upstate Medical University for their compassionate care.

Calling hours will be Sunday, November 3, 2024, from 1 PM to 4 PM at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. A funeral Mass in celebration of Tina’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Holy Cross Church, DeWitt, NY, followed by a private burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Toys for Tots and the Kids Café at the Food Bank of CNY.

Tina's kindness and warmth will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of those she touched.
