Pentecost
In this lesson, Steve teaches us about Pentecost. When Jesus rises from the dead, he gives us the ability to get to Heaven. Unfortunately, we’re still inclined to reject him (due to our fallen human nature), so we need help! Knowing this, His plan goes even further than just the Resurrection. Telling them to remain in Jerusalem, he sends the Holy Spirit to the disciples which gives them the ability to actually live as followers of Jesus. This moment is called Pentecost, and we participate in it when we are Baptized and later Confirmed. Come, Holy Spirit! Watch the video to learn more.
