Refugee Assistance Committee Meeting: Thursday, 7pm.

Our Refugee Committee is planning a Bake Sale on Sunday November 4th. If you would like to help plan this event or to participate in future events with our refugee family, please join us in Yeazel Hall or call Beth (315)416-4576. The family is from Afghanistan and is a single Mom with 9 children. If you are available to help during the day, we are seeking a volunteer who can help manage doctor & dentist appointments.

Refugee Closet: Boot & Coat CollectioN

The clothing closet at Refugee Resettlement is organized by two HC parish volunteers who collect & sort clothing donations so that the items offered to local refugees are seasonally appropriate & usable. Clothing for school aged children is an ongoing need. If you are buying new boots or a coat for your school aged child or yourself, please consider donating the clean, outgrown & gently used item to the Refugee Closet. Donations can be placed in the bin marked for refugees in the downstairs closet nearest the elevator. Thank you to all who have donated generously in the past!
