May Crowning & Children's Choir

It is a tradition here at Holy Cross to have our annual May Crowning and Procession the day after First Communion. On Saturday, sixty-seven children received Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time. Our First Communion children were invited to lead our procession for the May Crowning. We are blessed to have ten First Communion families whose grandparents are also members of the parish: the McDevitt Family, the Cappelletti - Bevans Family, the Kresge Family, the Dera - Lewandowski Family, the Kogut Family, the Mills - O’Reilly Family, the Rombel - Kenah Family, the Egnoto - Adornato Family, the Sindoni - Arkinson Family, and the Adams Family. It is incredibly special to have so many families with a legacy of care and support for this community. We invited these families to carry the processional banners and place the crown of flowers on the statue of Mary during the May Crowning celebration. We also celebrated our incredibly gifted and precious children's choir. We are so blessed by their worship, and if you have a child that may be interested, be sure to get in touch with our music director, Ernest Camerota. Check out photos below from the celebration...
