All are invited to attend a meeting of the Refugee Assistance Committee (RAC) on Monday, Nov 7, from 6:30 – 7:30 pm in Rooms 12-13 of Yeazel Hall.

Two guest speakers, Valerie Hardy of Catholic Charities refugee assistance program and Sarah Dolbier, a citizenship and civic engagement student at Syracuse University, will share information about a new program designed to support the teams that offer short-term assistance to new immigrant families and facilitate their independence and self-sufficiency.

Following their presentation, the RAC will discuss and consider this opportunity and plan for next steps to welcome and support new immigrant families settling in our community.
