Ash Wednesday

Masses - 7:45 AM, 10:30 AM, 12:00 PM, & 5:30 PM

Ash Wednesday is a holy day of prayer, fasting, and repentance. It marks the beginning of Lent. Masses on Ash Wednesday are 7:45 AM, 10:30 AM, 12:00 PM, and 5:30 PM. Join us as we begin our Lenten journey together!

BREAD & SOUP SUPPER - 6:00 PM

Following the 5:30 PM Mass on Ash Wednesday, join us as we break fast as a family with a simple (and delicious) soup and homemade bread meal. We’ve got something for everyone. To help support our food ministry for the poor, we’re asking for a $5 per person donation.

ADORATION & RECONCILIATION - 7:00 PM

After our Soup Supper, join us for some quiet time in the presence of God. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and the Sacrament of Reconciliation begin at 7:00 PM. Come and find stillness and peace as we enter into this Lenten season.

Ignite Catholic Men's Conference

IGNITE 2025 Catholic Men's Conference: Saturday, March 29th

We are excited to announce that the IGNITE Catholic Men’s Conference is back with a great lineup of speakers: Bear Woznick, Fr Chase Hilgenbrinck and Ben Steele.  As always Bishop Lucia will start the day with Holy Mass.  IGNITE will return to Bishop Ludden Junior/Senior High School this year.  Mark your calendar NOW and register early to save $20.  We are challenging everyone to not only register yourself but bring a family member or friend to share the day.

The Most Reverend Douglas J. Lucia invites all married couples & their families to join him in celebrating World Marriage Day Mass on Sunday, February 9 at 2:00 PM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. A special blessing for all couples in attendance will be imparted.

Our service of Lessons and Carols was postponed earlier this month due to inclement weather. Lessons and Carols is now rescheduled for Thursday, January 2 at 7:00 PM in the church. 

Scripture readings and music of the season by the choir & instrumentalists will fill the church with the joy of the Christmas season. Invite your friends & family to join you. All are welcome. We hope to see you there!

Holy Cross Fall Festival

JOIN US FOR MASS: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 22 | 10:30 AM

Holy Cross Church & School is excited to invite you, your family, and your friends to the Holy Cross Fall Festival! Come rain or shine! Join us for Mass at Holy Cross Church at 10:30 AM. Following Mass, head over to Holy Cross School for food, fun, and games.

FREE FOOD, FUN, & GAMES: 11:30AM - 2:00PM

The festival kicks off after Mass at 11:30 AM and runs to about 2:00 PM. The festival will take place at Holy Cross School. There will be a free lunch, delicious fall treats like pies, cakes, and scrumptious sides! There will be some incredible inflatables, dodgeball tournament for middle and high school students, fun activities like face painting, and amazing entertainment.

PARTICIPATION WAIVER

Please note: this year a parent must sign a waiver before their child can participate on any inflatables. You may sign the release and email it to steve@holycrossdewitt.org or bring a signed copy with you to the event.

HOUSE SHIRT

Early registrants for Faith Formation and Sacramental Prep and all Holy Cross School students: your House shirt will be ready for pick up before Mass. So come 10 minutes early to pick it up. New to the Houses? Learn more about the Houses here.

VOLUNTEERS

If you are interested in volunteering at the event, please contact Julie Sheridan at julie@holycrossdewitt.org. We are looking for help with setup on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, clean up after the event Sunday afternoon, serving food and drinks, and supervising the inflatables. Please let us know if you’d like to help.
