Celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary! Masses at Holy Cross will be Monday, December 9, 2024 at 7:45 AM, 10:30 AM (school Mass) and at 5:30 PM. There will be no vigil Mass.

The solemnity is a holy day of obligation recognizing the solemn celebration of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary, universally celebrated on Dec. 8, nine months before the feast of the Nativity of Mary (Sept. 8). Because December 8 falls on the the Second Sunday of Advent this year, the holy day is transferred to Monday, December 9.
