Obituary
Russell T. Burlingame, 87, of Jamesville passed away peacefully Sunday, August 21 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 15, 1935 to the late Russell M. and Martha Burlingame. He was a loving husband and father who worked tirelessly to provide for his family.
He worked many years at Bristol Lab and the Jamesville Post Office. Russell enjoyed maintaining his small farm and property. He lent his carpenter skills to several family home building projects either as lead or co-lead.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Bill, Richard and Raymond. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Dorothy Schad Burlingame; 6 children, Theresa Good, Russell (Margaret) Burlingame Jr, Catherine Barone, Michael (Maureen) Burlingame, Laura (Luke) Rossano, Dorothy (Chris) Kracik; his siblings, Carol, Lois, Charles and Beverly; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Thursday, August 25, from 9 to 11 am at Holy Cross Church, 4112 E. Genesee St. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:30am at the church. Burial St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Face Masks Required.
