Arlene R. Redmond, 85, of DeWitt, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, with her loving husband by her side.
Born January 26, 1938 in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Dora Billings Richards. She was a sales associate with, Sibley’s, Kaufmann’s, Macy’s and J. C. Penny’s until her retirement in 2012. Mrs. Redmond was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church.
Arlene travelled extensively with her husband throughout Europe, Greece, Israel, Australia and New Zealand. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Lawrence; two children, Terrence (Robin) Redmond of North Syracuse and Patricia (Marc) Hutchinson of Pittsburgh, PA; three grandchildren, Gregory (Lauren) Redmond, Eric (Katelyn) Redmond and Zachary (Michelle) Hutchinson; and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers and four sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 13 at 10 am at Holy Cross Church, DeWitt. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt. There are no calling hours.
