Ryan Smith
My name is Ryan. I live in the neighborhood across from HC. I am a funeral director and operate my own business. I attend the 5pm Sunday mass and I’m involved at the Assumption Food Pantry. I’m humbled to be considered for this opportunity to serve everyone in our faith community. If elected I plan to be a resource and strong advocate for every parishioner. As a 23 year old Catholic building a solid sense of community for young men and women in the church is important to me. I hear so many people share about their (grand) children who have fallen away from the faith. Making church attractive to them, for the right reasons, will be one of my primary goals
Theresa Beaty
I moved with my family to CNY in 1996 and joined St. Mary's Church (Jamesville). When it closed, we became Roamin' Catholics, joining Holy Cross in 2010. I have lectored here for many years, and my son and daughter were confirmed here. I delight in teaching chemistry/biochemistry to science majors and non-majors at Le Moyne College. I directed the core curriculum and chaired the chemistry department. I enjoy analyzing complex problems and working cooperatively to develop thoughtful and practical solutions. The challenges facing Holy Cross represent an opportunity for me to share my experience with the church community.
