Obituary
Christine (Cannella) Suski, 58, of E. Syracuse, formerly of Rochester, passed away peacefully at home on July 6, 2022. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Francis and Anne (Prokopiak) Cannella. Christine graduated from the University of Rochester with a B.A. in Political Science and Government, and M.S. in Public Policy Analysis. She was previously employed with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Geisinger. Chrissy enjoyed board games, puzzles, cross stitch, and anything Disney. She also loved spending time with family and friends.
Christine is survived by her large loving family, including two sons, Daniel Suski and Jonathan (Kristina) Suski; siblings, Mary Hartman, Theresa Downing, Rose (Peter) Hartman, Anthony Cannella and Peter (Elizabeth) Cannella; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and godchildren.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Christine’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Holy Cross Church, with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt. Family and friends may call from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY
