Obituary
"Pat" "Mr. Buick" Pasquale Bombard, 91, of Sarasota, FL, passed away September 26, 2021. Born in Syracuse to the late Guespina "Josephine" (Lagana) and Patsy "Pasquale" Bombard, he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force and later attended the General Motors Dealer Academy. Throughout his career, he was known as "Mr. Buick," he was the number 1 Buick dealer in New York State, and a past president of the Syracuse Auto Dealers Association. In retirement, Pat was a member of the Holy Name Society and a lector at Holy Cross Church. He enjoyed watching and playing basketball, football, and walks on the beach and spending time with his family and friends.
Along with his parents, Pat was predeceased by his son, Randall J. Bombard; and his siblings, Joseph Bombard, Carmella "Molly" Dibello, Marion Esposito, Gloria A. Bombard, Stephen A. Bombard; mother of their children, Mary (Phillips) Bombard.
Pat is survived by his children, Pat J. Bombard, Kathleen (Ed) King, Paul Bombard, Ronald Bombard, Jeanine (Mark) Bombard, Mark (Nancy) Bombardieri, and Regina (Jason) Brickl; grandchildren, Randy King, PJ (Rachel) Bombard, Ashley (Michael) DeCarbo, Daniel (Morgan) King, Robert (Beth) Terranova, Jr., Jessica (Mitchell) Kinney, Stephanie Terranova, Matthew King, Rachel Bombard, Guilia Brickl, Isabella Brickl, and Brooklyn Bombard; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Taylor King, Elyanna and Greyson Lugo, Emma and Vincent Kinney, and Robert Terranova III; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends may call from 9:30 – 10:00 am on Saturday, June 25, 2022, with a memorial mass immediately following at 10:00 am in Holy Cross Church 4112 E. Genesee St. Dewitt, NY. An event for family and friends will take place following the memorial mass until 12:00 pm. Pat will be laid to rest with his son Randy in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. In lieu of flowers, please give to a charity close to your heart.
